AKRON, Ohio, FEB. 3, 2018 – USF track and field capped off its third team event of the indoor season with three event victories and 16 top-five finishes Saturday at the Akron Invitational.
Junior 
D'angelo Ennis (Kingston, Jamaica) won the men's triple jump with a mark of 49-5.00 that ranks fourth on USF's all-time indoor triple jump chart.
Freshman 
Imani Carmouche (Mt. Zion, Ga.) won the women's high jump blue division with a top total of 5-7. 
Kirby Powers finished second in the event at 5-3.
Senior 
Kaytlyn Gill (Charlotte, N.C.) finished atop the women's triple jump blue division with a mark of 38-8.25 that ranks 10
th in USF indoor history. Senior 
Tierra Lacey placed fourth in the event (36-7).
Other Women's Top-Five Results
	- 60M DASH: Chelsea Francis took second in the 60-meter dash in the blue division with a time of 7.57 seconds. Francis' preliminary run of 7.54 seconds matches the fourth-best time in USF indoor history. Jada Massie placed third in the 60-meter dash at 7.57 seconds after turning in a preliminary time of 7.59.
 
	- 200M DASH: Chelsea Francis placed second in the gold division with a time of 24.56 seconds.
 
	- DMR: The distance medley relay team of Brianna Rischar, Maya Fabri, Rania Samhouri and Yaranel Abreu placed fifth with a time of 13:20.56.
 
Other Men's Top-Five Results
	- 800M DASH: Yohance Haynes placed third in the 800-meter gold division with a time of 1:53.01. Haynes' prelim time of 1:51.22 ranks the sophomore third on USF's all-time indoor list.
 
	- DMR: The distance medley relay team of Cash Tampa, Yohance Haynes, Derwin Moultrie and Evan Babatz placed fourth with a time of 10:27.20.
 
	- POLE VAULT: David Bell took fifth in the gold division with a mark of 17-0.75 that matches the third-best total in Bulls indoor history.
 
	- LONG JUMP: Jonah Daniels placed third in the gold division with a mark of 24-2.25 that topped his previous career-best total of 24-1.50 that ranked third all-time at USF.
 
	- SHOT PUT: Zach Diaczynsky placed second in the event with a mark of 52-10.00, which moved the senior up to third on USF's indoor chart.
 
	- WEIGHT THROW: Zach Diaczynsky also took third in the weight throw with a mark of 58-7.50.
 
	- HEPTATHLON: Raekwon Scott took second in the heptathlon with a score of 5,238, which improves his second place standing on the USF all-time indoor chart.

USF will tune up for the conference indoor meet in Birmingham, Ala., at the Samford Invitational on Friday, Feb. 9.
