Fisher Signs Tobias Sonne for Fall 2018

TAMPA, Fla. (April 26, 2018) – USF men's tennis signed Tobias Sonne to the 2018-2019 roster on Thursday.

Sonne hails from Buenos Aires, Argentina, and studied at St. Andrews Scott's School. His highest ranking in the ITF was 352 in the world and was inside the top 15 in the Argentina  juniors rankings.

"Tobias is an incredibly hard worker with an amazing attitude," said head coach Ashley Fisher. "He has a passion for tennis which is contagious and his level is improving at a very fast rate. I believe with some more hard work he can help our team in 2019 in what I'm expecting to be one of our best years in program history. Tobias is a high character guy who I know is going to work as hard as anyone around here on the court and inside the class room."
