BREMERTON, Wash. (May 10, 2025) – The South Florida men's golf team continues their postseason run as they head to Bremerton, WA to compete in the NCAA Regionals, May 12-14. The Bulls will be competing in the Washington Region and will play 54 holes at the Gold Mountain Golf Club. This will serve as the Bulls' 10th Regional appearance since 2013. A top-five finish at the NCAA Regionals would punch the Bulls' ticket to their fifth NCAA Division 1 National Championships in program history.
The 14-team Washington Region field, in order of seed, is: Arizona State, Florida, Utah, South Carolina,
South Florida, Colorado, Charlotte, Kansas, Colorado State, Kansas State, Elon, Coastal Carolina, Oral Roberts and Seattle.
The Bulls earned the No. 5 seed in the 14-team Washington Region, behind four nationally ranked teams: No. 4 Arizona State, No. 8 Florida, No. 17 Utah, and No. 20 South Carolina.
Five golfers ranked in the national top-25 will compete in this region, including USF's own
Jake Peacock (No. 20). He'll be joined by No. 3 Ian Gilligan, No. 4 Jose Luis Ballester Bario, No. 6 Preston Summerhays, and No. 24 Nathan Franks.
South Florida enters the NCAA Regionals after placing second at the AAC Championships in what was their best team score of the season, 829 (-35). As a team, the Bulls' current scoring average is the highest in program history (283.11) entering the NCAA Regionals. Senior
Jake Peacock comes into his final Regional tournament fresh off of becoming the only back-to-back individual champion in AAC history.
Wilhelm Ryding and
Shubham Jaglan both placed top-five at the AAC Championships and are playing their best golf of the season heading into Washington.

The USF men's golf program has captured 19 conference titles and has seen players earn 19 All-America honors. The Bulls have won six American Athletic Conference Tournament championships in wire-to-wire fashion, winning four consecutive from 2015-18. The Bulls have had four individual conference champions, including Albin Bergstrom in 2021, and gone on to earn nine straight NCAA Regional appearances, including a 6th place finish in NCAA Championship match-play in 2015. USF is led by Steve Bradley, who has been named American Athletic Conference Coach of the Year five times since taking over the program in 2014. The Bulls have posted 24 tournament wins under Bradley including three in the 2023-24 season, by far the most under any coach in program history.
