PRIOR TO USF: In her sophomore year of high school, she placed 3rd in the 1600m at the 3A FHSAA State championships...in her junior year she placed 3rd in the 1600m and placed 5th in the 4x 800m at the 2A FHSAA state championships... in her senior year she placed 5th in the 4x 800m at the 2A FHSAA state championships... was named cross country and track team captain sophomore, junior and senior year and was named Palm Beach County small school Track and Field athlete of the year her junior year... was a four-year letterman in both cross country and track.
