2018: A redshirt season. 

CARVER HS: As a senior, led his team to the Georgia Class 5A state semifinal, which was the program’s first Final Four appearance since 1968…completed 286 of 428 passes (67 percent) for 5,581 yards and 43 touchdowns in 40 career games, along with 113 rushes for 1,272 yards (11.3 ypc) and six touchdowns…completed 72 percent of his passes for 3,221 yards and 23 touchdowns in 14 games as a senior while rushing for 713 yards (12.3 ypc) and two touchdowns…as a junior, completed 100 of 162 passes for 2,106 yards and 16 touchdowns while rushing for 487 yards (12.5 ypc) and three touchdowns in 11 games (team went 8-3)…rated as a three-star recruit by Rivals and Scout… also earned varsity letters in baseball and basketball in high school.

PERSONAL: Born on Dec. 12, 1998, in Atlanta...son of Sam and Tameka Battle...has three younger sisters and one younger brother...majoring in sports management.
