2018: A redshirt season.

PORT CHARLOTTE HS: Named 2017 third-team Class 6A All-State by FloridaHSFootball.com...as a senior, helped Port Charlotte post its sixth consecutive winning season, going 7-3 with three shutout victories and a playoff appearance…named to the FACA All-Star game as a senior…as a junior, named all-district and an all-area honorable mention and an all-state second team member after totaling 45 tackles, 15 tackles for loss and 10.5 sacks…a two-time FHSAA Class 2A state champion weight lifter (2017 & 2018)...lifted a total of 880 pounds as a senior to shatter the 14-year old state record (820), including lifts of 470 pounds on bench and a state heavyweight record 410 pounds in the clean and jerk...named the Pound for Pound top lifter at the 2018 state meet...named 2018 Mr. Weightlifter by the Florida Dairy Farmers...lifted a combined total of 820 pounds, which tied the state record, as a junior...named the 2017 Herald-Tribune Lifter of the Year...named Suncoast Boys Weightlifter of the Year as well as The Sun’s Defensive Player of the Year in 2016...named to the Port Charlotte High School Senior Hall of Fame…rated as a three-star recruit by 247Sports and a two-star prospect by Rivals…also received offers from Appalachian State, Eastern Michigan, Marshall, UMass, McNeese State, South Dakota and Southern Miss…also a standout weightlifter in high school that won the Class 2A state championship as a junior.

PERSONAL: Born on Aug. 27, 1998...son of Dalphan and Dawn Leacock...has one older sister, Tyana, and brothers Brandon (16), DJ (24) and Tyrell (27)...was named Homecoming King and Prom King at Port Charlotte High School...named the HT Preps Weightlifter of the Year...also lettered in weightlifting and wrestling...majoring in physical education with a minor in business.
