
Two Bulls Earn WPSL Post-Season Honors

TAMPA, Fla. (July 27, 2007) ? University of South Florida soccer players Jeannette Dyer and Mallori Lofton-Malachi earned Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL) post season awards, as announced by the league.
Dyer, from Punta Gorda, Fla., was selected to the All-WPSL Third Team while Lofton-Malachi, of Philadelphia, was the South Region Co-Goalkeeper of the Year.
Dyer and Lofton-Malachi both play for the Tampa Bay Elite, who have been the 2006 and 2007 South Conference champion and are 6-0-2 this season.
The Tampa Bay Elite is hosting, and will play, in the WPSL Final Four at Pepin Stadium in Tampa on July 28-29. Tampa Bay will play the New England Mutiny in the WPSL National Semifinal at 8:30 p.m. The 2007 WPSL National Final will be played at 1 p.m. on Sunday, July 29.
The WPSL is a 38-team national women's soccer league with five conferences and is the highest level of women's soccer in the United States while also holding the distinction of being one of the top leagues in the world. The mission is to provide the highest level of women's soccer while simultaneously providing affordable, quality family entertainment and positive role models for youth.
