
McIntosh and Brauer Selected to WPSL Final Four Tournament Team

TAMPA, Fla. (August 6, 2007) ?Lindsay Brauer and Paulina McIntosh, both members of the University of South Florida women's soccer team, were selected to the 2007 Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL) Final Four All-Tournament Team.
Brauer scored the Elite's only goal in the Final Four, a penalty kick that tied the game 1-1, forcing the game into overtime. The Elite lost the national semifinal game in a 5-4 PK shootout.
Brauer and McIntosh each played five games for the Tampa Bay Elite this season. Brauer, a forward, scored five goals and made four assists for 14 points while McIntosh, who is a defender, recorded one goal this summer.
The WPSL is a 38-team national women's soccer league with five conferences and is the highest level of women's soccer in the United States while also holding the distinction of being one of the top leagues in the world.
