TAMPA, FEB. 5, 2018 – Take a look ahead at the week in USF Athletics and catch up on last week's action:

No. 21 Football
Need to Know: The priority renewal period for football season ticket members began on Jan. 31 and will run through Friday, March 30. Learn more HERE… New season tickets for the 2018 season will go on sale to all fans starting on Friday, April 13. Deposits of $50 are currently being accepted toward new season tickets and may be made by calling 1-800-Go-Bulls, visiting www.USFBullsTix.com or in-person at the USF Ticket Office (Lee Roy Selmon Athletic Center) Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. 

Last Week: Former USF standout Eric Lee played for the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII after becoming the 11th player in Bulls football history to reach the big game.

No. 23 Women's Basketball (18-5, 8-2)
This Week: USF returns to the Sun Dome for a three-game home stand that begins 7 p.m. Wednesday against East Carolina… The Bulls finish up the week with a test against No. 18/17 Ohio State on Sunday at 2 p.m. (TV: ESPN2). Reserve your seats at USFBullsTix.com.

Last Week: USF secured its third straight win with a 63-53 victory at Tulane on Feb. 3… Maria Jespersen posted 26 points and 13 rebounds in a 71-57 win at Tulsa on Jan. 31… Jespersen has been named a finalist for the 2018 Katrina McClain Award.

Need to Know: USF is two more victories away from its sixth consecutive 20-win season… USF has joined programs from around the country in a free throw challenge fundraiser for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund this month. Learn more HERE… Junior sharpshooter Kitija Laksa was named a finalist for the 2018 Ann Meyers Drysdale Award.

Men's Basketball (8-16, 1-10)
This Week: USF hits the road to face UConn on Wednesday at 7 p.m. (TV: ESPNU)... The Bulls return to the Sun Dome to host Temple on Saturday at noon (TV: ESPNU). Reserve your seats at USFBullsTix.com.

Last Week: Stephan Jiggetts registered a game-high 22 points in a 63-54 home loss to Tulsa on Feb. 4… Freshman David Collins scored a career-high 21 points in an 86-74 home loss to Memphis on Jan. 31.

Softball
This Week: USF opens the season at home against Illinois State on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. … The Bulls will host the USF-Wilson DeMarini Tournament over the weekend and start with a test against Georgia State on Friday at 7 p.m. USF continues its tournament run against No. 18 Michigan on Saturday at 3:45 p.m. before facing UAB on Saturday at 8:30 p.m. The Bulls will take on No. 2 Florida on Sunday at 4:15 p.m.

Baseball
Last Week: Head coach Billy Mohl, ace Shane McClanahan and team captain David Villar shared their thoughts on the season ahead at Bulls media day on Jan. 30. Learn more HERE… McClanahan picked up his third preseason All-America honor when Baseball America named the left-hander to its first team.

Need to Know: USF begins its 2018 season at home with a three-game series against No. 6 North Carolina Feb. 16-18. Season tickets are on sale and fans can purchase a package for just $65. Learn more HERE.

Track and Field
This Week: USF tunes up for the conference indoor meet at the Samford Invitational that's set for Friday in Birmingham, Ala.

Last Week: D'Angelo Ennis (triple jump), Imani Carmouche (high jump) and Kaytlyn Gill (triple jump) won their events while USF turned in 16 top-five finishes on the final day of the Akron Invitational on Feb. 3. Women's Tennis (1-4)
Next Match: USF travels to Austin to take on No. 11 Texas on Friday, Feb. 16 at 1 p.m.

Men's Tennis (2-4, 0-1)
This Week: USF travels to Texas for two matches, starting with a test against No. 16 TCU on Friday at 6:30 p.m. ... The Bulls will battle No. 9 Baylor on Sunday at 2 p.m.

Last Week: USF started its Sunday doubleheader in Cambridge, Mass., with a 4-1 win over Boston College before falling to Harvard, 4-3, on Feb. 4. Check out the recap HERE.

Men's Golf

Women's Golf
Next Event: USF heads to Melbourne, Fla., to compete in the Louisville Invitational Feb. 19-20.

This Week: USF continues its spring schedule 7 p.m. Tuesday, when it takes on former Bull Marcus Epps and MLS' Philadelphia Union at the Joe DiMaggio Sports Complex in Clearwater.

Last Week: Before facing the MLS' Chicago Fire in a friendly at Corbett Stadium on Feb. 3, conference freshman of the year Adrian Billhardt got to meet his idol, Bastian Schweinsteiger, an international star who enters his second season with the Fire. Learn more HERE.

About USF Athletics
USF Athletics sponsors 19 varsity men's and women's teams that compete in 11 different sports, 18 at the NCAA Division I level in the American Athletic Conference. The Bulls' athletic program celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2015, having begun with a men's soccer contest in 1965. Nearly 500 student-athletes train and compete in the athletic district located on the east end of the campus in Tampa, Fla. The Bulls have claimed 12 American Athletic Conference team titles since joining the conference in 2013, including four in 2016-17, and own 109 conference championships overall. Ten USF programs reached national post-season competition in the 2016-17 season and nine were ranked in the Top 25 nationally. The Bulls posted a program-record 86 percent Graduation Success Rate (2016) in the last reporting, logged an annual department grade-point average over a 3.0 for the second straight year and saw 106 student-athletes earn their degree during the 2016-17 academic period.
