Alvarado wasn't done producing tracks though. He collaborated with running back Mike Ford and put together a track titled "2007 Crunk Session". The song has become a rally cry in the USF locker room this season and is now ready for public consumption.

2 - 3:30 p.m. - Practice at Canutillo High School
The story of the day is the frigid temperatures.  The sun is out for the Sun Bowl practices but it is not helping much. The temperature this morning at 8 a.m. was 21 degrees with 40 mile per hour winds.  At practice the temperature had risen some but the winds had not died down.

The majority of the team was wearing long sleeves, while Coach Leavitt went with shorts and sweat shirt. The rest of the coaching staff was not as brave, choosing instead for multiple layers, beanies and hooded sweatshirts.

Jim Leavitt noted afterwards that it had to be the coldest temperature USF had ever practiced in over 11 years of football. With the warm climate in Tampa and previouus bowl trips to Charlotte and Birmingham, he is probably correct.

USF senior CB Ryan Gilliam remains a favortie subject with the media covering the bowl because of ties to Oregon, although Thursday he was popular for his Jim Leavitt impression at last night's talent show. He did his impersonation again after practice Thursday.

Senior CB Mike Jenkins openly admitted he was the coldest player on the team. He was trying to prove his toughness.  Throughout practice Jenkins was blanketing USF's receivers while have his hands tucked into his undershirt to keep warm.  It's no wonder he is the top rated corner that by 2007 NFL Draft experts.

Mike Jenkins talks about the practice and adjusting to the cold

Alvarado did interviews in English and Spanish and was visibly shivering throughout the Q&A's.  The budding rapper talked football on Thursday, check below to view his interviews.
