Our MISSION
The University of South Florida’s Athletic Performance staff seeks to provide a well-designed training system based on scientific principles and evidence-based protocols to meet the needs of each individual athlete and team. Our goal is to guide each USF student-athlete to biomechanical efficiency, increased athletic performance qualities, and improved self-confidence to help each reach their highest level of competitive performance.
Our PHILOSOPHY
The training system utilized by the athletic performance staff will increase student-athletes’ biomechanical efficiency, strength, power, endurance, and mental fortitude. This will lead to a responsible, robust, and highly competitive student-athlete. All student-athletes will be provided an equal, consistent, safe, and productive training environment.
Our OBJECTIVES
Enhance Athletic Performance Qualities: strength, speed, power, agility, and flexibility.
Develop Injury Resiliency: well-trained/conditioned muscles and joints decrease the possibility of injury.
Motivate: Increase student-athletes self-confidence and mental fortitude through education.
Results: Support student-athletes success.
