TAMPA -- USF head coach Jim Leavitt and Memphis head coach Tommy West will be battling on Saturday, Dec. 20, but today they both agreed that there may not be better place than St. Petersburg to play a bowl game.
Under picturesque skies and 75 degree weather, West, Leavitt, St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Baker, magicJack St. Petersburg Bowl executive Director Brett Dulaney and Tampa Bay Bucaneer legend Mike Alstott held a joint news conference at the St. Pete Pier on Tuesday afternoon.
