The Rest of the 2008 Signing Class
TAMPA, Fla. -- University of South Florida head coach Jim Leavitt wasn't done puting the finishing touches on his signing class last week.
On Thursday, he announced the signing of offensive lineman Damien Edwards of Chandler, Ariz. The 6-6, 320 pound signee is the ninth offensive or defensive lineman to sign a National Letter of Intent with USF.
"First off, we are excited to welcome Damien to the USF football program," said Leavitt. "He is a great young man, comes from a tremendous high school program and a very athletic family. Offensive and defensive linemen are some of the hardest positions to recruit, so to add someone of his stature and potential is a great addition to our class."
