TAMPA -- USF seniors and 'Titletown USA' natives Cedric Hill and Carlton Williams will participate in a live chat on Thursday at 1:15 p.m. Eastern.
Fans can submit questions, comments and feedback for the Valdosta, Ga. natives beginning at 8 a.m. on Thursday in preparation for the live chat. The duo both played at Valdosta HS, which has won 23 state championships and was a key figure in ESPN recently naming their hometown as 'Titletown USA'.
Williams is one of the most underestimated players on the USF defense. He has played in 38 games and started 34 as a freshman, sophomore and junior. He returns as the most experienced player on the USF defense in 2008 and will take over part of the leadership and organizational roles that Ben Moffitt held last season.
The USF coaching staff is expecting Hill to have a breakout season at tight end. Hill came to USF as a receiver and has finally filled out his frame. Last year he had 23 receptions for 264 yards and one touchdown. He started 12 of 13 games and has played in 38 games the last three seasons.
