TAMPA - In a joint effort, the University of South Florida Department of Athletics, the Bulls Club and the USF Alumni Association and have created a new and unique fan travel and hospitality initiative called “Bulls Sports Travel.”
This initiative, in conjunction with Premiere College Sports together with Dodds Athletic Tours, is the first of its kind for USF. It will make Bulls Sports Travel the “Official University of South Florida Fan Travel Program” for all USF alumni, season ticket holders and fans when following the Bulls on the road.
“USF athletic events are often the “bay window” through which people throughout the country view the University, so it is important our fans are able to follow our teams on the road for the big game,” said USF Director of Athletics Doug Woolard. “We hope to make following our teams outside of Tampa as convenient and festive as possible.”
This new, year-long program will create fan travel and hospitality packages for special regular season and all post-season football games as well as other special athletic events. Additionally, USF Sports Travel will provide Bulls fans travel and hospitality options to such sporting events as the Kentucky Derby, the Masters, the Super Bowl and the Daytona 500.
“The creation of Bulls Sports Travel will give USF's supporters, alumni and friends a one stop shop for following our athletic teams on the road,” said Vicki Mitchell, Associate Athletic Director of Development. “USF traveling fans will be able to enjoy the great accommodations, premiere service, and convenience that Bulls Sports Travel has to offer and to experience special premium events outside USF's own schedule, such as the Kentucky Derby and the Masters, to name a few. USF fans of all sports can benefit from this new program.”
