--Thanks to the latest round of college football polls, the scene has been set for arguably the biggest college football game in Tampa history on Oct. 15

Despite having the week off, USF climbed three spots in the USA Today Coaches poll that was announced Sunday afternoon, standing at No. 21. Its Oct. 15 opponent Cincinnati moved up one spot to No. 9.

The AP voters like the two schools just as well, ranking USF No. 21 while having Cincinnati one spot higher than the coaches at No. 8.

The Bulls and Bearcats will play in front of a national television audience in four days. ESPN and the primetime Thursday night crew of Chris Fowler, Erin Andrews, Jesse Palmer and Craig James will broadcast the BIG EAST Conference showdown live from Raymond James Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.

USF has been ranked in 21 of the last 40 polls, including being ranked for nine weeks in 2007 and being ranked for 10 weeks in 2008.

USF owns an all-time record of 11-7 when ranked, but perhaps more importantly, USF has won five consecutive games against ranked opponents. The streak dates back to a 2006 win at West Virginia. USF is 2-0 all-time when both teams enter the game ranked.
