TAMPA - With the excitement surrounding the University of South Florida Football team's ESPN Thursday night showdown with the No. 8 Cincinnati Bearcats creating a national buzz, the University of South Florida Athletic Department will host "Breakfast with the Bulls" to kickoff game week at a number of select locations throughout Tampa Bay beginning on Monday, October 12.
Head coach Jim Leavitt, NFL Hall of Famer Lee Roy Selmon, Director of Athletics Doug Woolard and other USF officials will take time from their busy game week preparation to travel a number of locations throughout the Bay Area and visit with fans and a number of local television and radio stations and provide them with breakfast.
The events will feature USF Cheerleaders and Sun Doll, Rocky with prize giveaways. The spirit squads will also be on air with a number of morning TV and radio.
Billed by some as the BIG EAST Game of the year and arguably the biggest college football game in Tampa history, the eyes of the college football nation turn to Raymond James Stadium for game with major BIG EAST Championship and Bowl Championship Series implications.
Bulls fans are encouraged to Go Green as the Bulls look to take down the defending BIG EAST Champion Bearcats on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
In addition to visiting most local television and radio media outlets, the Bulls will host Breakfasts at the following locations:
