What is the Varsity Club? The mission of the Varsity Club is to encourage past USF athletics members to be lifelong members of the USF Athletics family and to strengthen the bond between them, the University, and the department of intercollegiate athletics. The Bulls Varsity Club will strive to provide its members with the opportunity to foster and maintain relationships across different sports and generations thus promoting the interest and mission of the University of South Florida.

Photo Name: First Football Game Ever Played at the old Tampa Stadium on Sept. 6, 1997 in front of 49,212, USF began its football history on that day when the Bulls defeated Kentucky Wesleyan, 80-3, in the team's inaugural season. The Bulls would go 5-6 that year as an independent school in the Football Championship Subdivision, the first of three years in the FCS.
