TAMPA -- BullsVision checks in with USF defensive end David Bedford, who has a personal familiarity with West Virginia, and redshirt-freshman B.J. Daniels, who will be seeing the Mountaineers for the first time on Friday night.
Bedford played two high school seasons with WVU senior quarterback Jarrett Brown at Palm Beach Lakes High School.
"He's the second-best quarterback I have played with, behind Matt Grothe," said Bedford. "With that strong arm, he's the real deal."
Regardless of their friendship, Bedford knows how big it is anytime USF and WVU meet.
"This one is huge," said Bedford. "Even before I came to South Florida, I knew how big this rivalry was."

Last Sunday, Daniels and the team put the Pitt game behind them and moved on to West Virginia. The players didn't even review film from the Pitt game, because Coach Leavitt wanted everyone to move forward to the huge challenge ahead against WVU.
"The three person front they (WVU) use is deceiving because of all the speed they have at linebacker and in the secondary," said Daniels.
Despite it being his first taste of the rivalary, the importance of Friday night is not lost on Daniels either.
"It' a rivalry game, but even more importantly it is a BIG EAST game," said Daniels. "It's a win we need."
