TAMPA - Kickoff for the highly-anticipated in-state showdown between Miami and the University of South Florida has been set for 3:30 p.m. Eastern on Nov. 28.
The game will be televised by ABC to a split national audience. The last time USF played on ABC in this time slot was in 2007 at home against Cincinnati and on the road at UConn.
Miami and USF both have the same number of losses this season. The No. 21/24 Hurricanes are 7-3 overall and 4-3 in the Atlantic Coast Conference with a matchup at home against Duke this weekend.
The Bulls are 6-3 overall and 2-3 in conference with a home tilt against Louisville on Saturday.
Miami and USF have met on one previous occasion. The Hurricanes defeated the Bulls 27-7 in Miami in 2005.
The Nov. 28 meeting will be the first of five in the annual series that is scheduled to run through 2013 and includes three home games (2009, 2011, 2013) for the Bulls.
