What is the Varsity Club? The mission of the Varsity Club is to encourage past USF athletics members to be lifelong members of the USF Athletics family and to strengthen the bond between them, the University, and the department of intercollegiate athletics. The Bulls Varsity Club will strive to provide its members with the opportunity to foster and maintain relationships across different sports and generations thus promoting the interest and mission of the University of South Florida.

Photo Name: Chris Welsh and Robin Roberts Chris Welsh (left, with head coach Robin Roberts) was USF's first major leaguer, as he got to the big leagues in 1981 and pitched for several more years throughout the 80's. Welsh competed for USF in the mid-70's and owns the lowest season earned run average by a starter with a 1.72 mark in 1976.
