TAMPA -- USF head coach Jim Leavitt was in classic story telling mode during his Nov. 3 press conference.
The subject matter was an unlikley student-athlete.
Junior kicker Eric Schwartz was the star of the bye week news luncheon, and Coach Leavitt told the tale of how the Hudson native made his way on the team.

After taking over for Delbert Alvarado in the third game of the season, Schwartz has gone 6-9, including long distance strikes of 44 and 50 yards.
The No. 25 Bulls have the weekend off before returning to BIG EAST action against Rutgers on Thursday, Nov. 12. The game will be broadcast live from New Jersey by ESPN.
