TAMPA -- The University of South Florida football team returned to both national polls and moved up in the BCS Standings on Sunday afternoon.
USF is No. 23 in the AP Poll and No. 24 in the Coaches Poll.
Four BIG EAST teams are ranked in the coaches poll. No. 23 West Virginia, No. 9 Pitt and No. 5 Cincinnati join the Bulls.
West Virginia is not ranked in the AP Poll, were Pitt is No. 8 and Cincinnati is No. 5.
USF has been ranked in 22 of the last 44 Coaches and AP polls and appeared at No. 25 in the BCS standings last weekend.
The bye and several upsets helped the Bulls move up one spot to No. 24 in the BCS and a few spots in both of polls.

USF owns an 11-8 all-time record when ranked. Rutgers is among the teams receiving votes in both polls.
USF and Rutgers will play in front of a national television audience Thursday on ESPN at 7:30 p.m. Eastern. Chris Fowler, Erin Andrews, Jesse Palmer and Craig James will call their second Bulls game of 2009 and their fifth in the last three seasons.
