USF in the Rogers CentreTORONTO  -  The USF football team moved into the Rogers Centre for its second practice in preparation for the 2010 International Bowl.

The spacious confines of the home of the Toronto Blue Jays and Toronto Argonauts garnered lots 'oohs-and ahhs' from the Bulls contingent.  The venue has a capacity just north of 55,000, but looks like it could easily accommodate twice as many people.

We have a posted a photo gallery from the practice here.

The Bulls practiced for two hours and focused a large portion of the time on their red zone offense.  The game plan is fully implemented and now the coaches are making final adjustments for the Northern Illinois Huskies.

Fine Dining
The football coaches, staff and administrators were hosted at Casa Loma last night to a fine dining experience.  The three-course menu  included duck confit, beef tenderloin, ox tail and chocolate and cranberry bread pudding.

Needless to say, there were plenty of football coaches that were experiencing some foods for the first time but the menu received rave reviews from all the brave souls at dinner.

Unprecedented Northern Exposure
The Bulls are obviously receiving unprecedented media exposure North of the border as they prepare to make their Canadian debut.

After Wednesday's practice members of the local media converged on the Rogers Centre.  The Score, which will broadcast the game in Canada, did one-on-one interviews with B.J. Daniels, Kenneth "Ziggy" Luberice and Jason Pierre-Paul.

The Toronto Sun is also working on a feature story on Evan Landi, who has become as one media member dubbed him, "a pop culture icon," because of his background in hockey.

St. Pete Times beat writer Greg Auman chronicle Landi's hockey career here, while Tampa Tribune beat writer Scott Carter has arrived in Toronto and wrote about yesterday's practice and has some good nuggets coming soon on senior LB Chris Robinson.

Today's Schedule
After practice the team is headed out to lunch on their own and then a VIP tour of the CN Tower. We sent a camcorder with David Bedford and should have highlights from the tour in the next 24 hours.

The coordinators and coach Leavitt will do a teleconference with the ESPN broadcast crew at 4 p.m. tonight and then everyone is set free for the evening.

A large contingent of the USF travel party will be hunting around the Toronto entertainment district in search of the men's basketball game with the Louisville Cardinals at 7 p.m. Eastern tonight.

Chris Robinson said he's going to the Raptors game to watch one of his favorite players, Chris Bosh, while the special teams group is headed to the movies.
