• The Bulls already knew they were going bowling this year, but now that the regular season is over, their destination is set, as USF is heading to Toronto for the International Bowl against Northern Illinois Jan. 2 at noon, to wrap up the 2009 season. And head coach Jim Leavitt is excited for the foreign experience. Brian Bennett gives a quick preview of the game on his ESPN blog. Stay with Bowl Central throughout the month of December for all the information about the contest.

• It was a cold night in East Hartford, Conn., as USF finished the regular season at UConn, and the end of the game was even colder for USF, as the Bulls fell, 29-27, on a last-second field goal by the Huskies. Click on the link for the AP story on GoUSFBulls.com and watch highlights of the game as well.

• Read the game stories from the Tampa Tribune and the St. Pete Times, while Greg Auman takes a look back at the final minute of play that ultimately doomed the Bulls. Linebacker Kion Wilson was unable to go, writes Scott Carter in his postgame notes.

• Also check out this BullsVision feature on defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul, as the junior shares with fans his background in different sports and his family's wishes for his possible NFL career.

• The USF women's basketball team played its last game before finals break Friday night, taking down Pac-10 opponent Washington, 61-50, as USF moved to 6-2 on the season. On their previous trip to California the week before, the Bulls got to see some of the sights and sounds of Los Angeles in between their three games out west.

• The men are off this week, but head coach Stan Heath will be at the Northdale Beef O'Brady's Monday at 7 p.m. for his weekly radio show, which can be heard on 1250 WHZN as well as BullsVision. Both the men and women are in action next Sunday for a doubleheader in the Sun Dome, with the men playing Central Michigan at 2 p.m. followed by the women at 4:30 against Jacksonville.

• The women's track and field team was also in action Saturday for its first meet of the 2009-10 season, as the Bulls captured three event titles at the Oiler Invitational in Findlay, Ohio.
