Complete ESPN.com All BIG EAST Team
TAMPA - While we wait for the official coaches All-BIG EAST awards announcement on Wednesday, a second media team was announced Tuesday afternoon by ESPN.com.
Blogger Brian Bennett put defensive end
Jason Pierre-Paul, safety
Nate Allen and linebacker
Kion Wilson on the ESPN.com All-BIG EAST team.
All three were also first team selections by
Phil Steele, who announced his team earlier in the day.
Pierre-Paul leads the Bulls with 14.5 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks. He has been a terror for opponents in just his first season out of junior college football.
Allen leads the Bulls with four interceptions and has been moving up draft boards all season. He was most recently listed a first round talent by Me Kiper of ESPN.com.
Wilson was the team leader on and off the field for most of the 2009 campaign. He has 98 tackles, easily the highest mark on the team, despite the fact that he missed the regular season finale with a foot injury. Wilson, who has been invited to play in the East-West Shrine Game, is expected to be back for the bowl game.
