Bulls Finish 16th at Ron Smith/USF Invitational

TAMPA- The University of South Florida men's golf team posted a final round score of 891 to finish the Ron Smith/ USF Invitational at 27-over good for 16th place.
Individual Rick Kittelstad finished the tournament in tie for 22nd place and led the Bulls in the final round with a 1-under 71, and also led the team for the tournament with a 1-over 217. Robby Carl posted the second best score for the Bulls with a 7-over 223 for the tournament.
Texas Tech won the overall team tournament with a 6-under 858. The Red Raiders defeated Florida Southern in a playoff by a total score of 16-19.
The individual champions were Florida Southern's Matt Stauch and Texas Tech's Santiago Rivas. Stauch and Rivas posted a score of 207 leaving him 9-under for the tournament.
The Bulls next tournament will be in Mobile, Ala. at the USA Spring Classic on March 22-24.
