What is the Varsity Club? The mission of the Varsity Club is to encourage past USF athletics members to be lifelong members of the USF Athletics family and to strengthen the bond between them, the University, and the department of intercollegiate athletics. The Bulls Varsity Club will strive to provide its members with the opportunity to foster and maintain relationships across different sports and generations thus promoting the interest and mission of the University of South Florida.

Photo Name: Debra Gunter Athlete of the Year In 1975 Debra Gunter of the volleyball team was named the Athlete of the Year after leading the Bulls to a 15-8 record the previous fall. In fact, during Gunter's two years with the program, the Bulls compiled a 35-20 record from 1973-74, only the second and third years of existence for the program.
