The mission of the Varsity Club is to encourage past USF athletics members to be lifelong members of the USF Athletics family and to strengthen the bond between them, the University, and the department of intercollegiate athletics. The Bulls Varsity Club will strive to provide its members with the opportunity to foster and maintain relationships across different sports and generations thus promoting the interest and mission of the University of South Florida.

Photo Name: Men's Soccer First Game 1965
On Sept. 25, 1965, the USF men's soccer team, led by Helge Verde (white jersey), played its first-ever contest, a 4-3 defeat of Florida Southern in two overtimes on the USF campus. The Bulls would finish 6-4-0 that season, the first of 24 straight seasons in which USF would finish at .500 or better.
