TAMPA- Each week, GoUSFBulls.com's Ronan O'Shea sits down with defensive coordinator Mark Snyder to discuss the previous week, and to look ahead to the upcoming game.
USF continues in BIG EAST play on Friday night with a trip to Cincinnati. The Bulls are coming off a 20-6 defeat at West Virginia. The Bearcats are currently 3-3 overall and 1-0 in conference, having defeated Louisville, 35-27, last weekend.
Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. and the game will be televised nationally by ESPN2.
Skip Holtz added one of the most nationally-respected defensive minds to his inaugural USF coaching staff when he hired Mark Snyder in January 2010 to serve as the defensive coordinator/linebackers coach with the Bulls.
He also added a man with head coaching experience and success at the highest levels of BCS football.
Prior to joining the USF staff, Snyder was the head coach at his alma mater, Marshall, for the five previous seasons. Snyder became the 28th head football coach for the Thundering Herd on April 14, 2005.
