TAMPA- Each week, GoUSFBulls.com's Ronan O'Shea sits down with defensive coordinator Mark Snyder to discuss the previous week, and to look ahead to the upcoming game.
USF is currently on a three-game winning streak, having defeated Cincinnati (38-30), Rutgers (28-27) and Louisville (24-21, OT). The Bulls currently stand at 6-3 overall and 3-2 in the BIG EAST. They will host first-place Pittsburgh (5-4, 3-1) on Saturday, Nov. 20.
Kickoff is set for Noon and the game will be televised nationally by ESPN2.
Skip Holtz added one of the most nationally-respected defensive minds to his inaugural USF coaching staff when he hired Mark Snyder in January 2010 to serve as the defensive coordinator/linebackers coach with the Bulls.
He also added a man with head coaching experience and success at the highest levels of BCS football.
Prior to joining the USF staff, Snyder was the head coach at his alma mater, Marshall, for the five previous seasons. Snyder became the 28th head football coach for the Thundering Herd on April 14, 2005.
