Team Notes
- With today's overtime 23-20 win at Miami, USF's record improves to 7-4 overall ... Today's win improves USF's all-time record to 102-61 all-time. USF is 33-38 all-time on the road.
- The win for the Bulls is the first against the Canes. USF is now 1-2 in three all-time meetings against the Hurricanes and 1-1 in Miami.
- The win is the Bulls' third come from behind victory of the season and second overtime win of the season.
- Today's attendance was 41,148.
- Today's game is the sixth-straight nationally televised contest for the Bulls, and their third appearance on ESPNU this season .
- USF 12-3 against teams from the state of Florida, 1-2 vs. Miami and 5-3 against members of the Atlantic Coast Conference.
- The overtime game was ninth in USF's history. The Bulls have never lost an overtime game. USF is 9-0 in those games.

Individual Notes
- OC Sampson Genus, S Mistral Raymond and LB Jacquian Williams were USF's captains for today's game against Miami ... Genus, Raymond and Williams are all captains for the entire season. USF did not have a special teams captain this week
- Tonight's offensive starters were: SE Dontavia Bogan, LT Jamar Bass, LG Jeremiah Warren, C Sampson Genus, RG Chaz Hine, RT Jacob Sims, TE Kevin Gidrey, FL Evan Landi, QB B.J. Daniels, RB Mo Plancher, FB Richard Kelly.
Tonight's defensive starters were: LE Patrick Hampton, NT Cory Grissom, DT Terrell McClain, RE David Bedford, SLB Jacquian Williams, MLB Sam Barrington, WLB Sabbath Joseph, LC Mistral Raymond, SS Jon Lejiste, FS Jerrell Young, RC Quenton Washington.
- In a homecoming to Miami, Senior LB Sabbath Joseph got his first start of season. The Miami Central HS product has started 13 contests in his career while playing in 48 career games.
- Freshman DE Ryne Giddins made his first career start opposite senior DE David Bedford.
- With his 37-yard kick-off return to open the second half, sophomore WR Lindsey Lamar has had a kick-off return of 30 yards or better in seven of the nine games in which he has returned a kickoff.
- Senior LB Jacquain Williams picked off Miami QB Stephen Morris and returned it 12-yards in the third quarter to setup the Bulls first touchdown of the game. The interception was the first of his career.
- Sophmore RB Demetris Murray's eight yard TD run in the third quarter was his third of the season. It was his first touchdown since the Bulls win at Cincinnati on Oct. 22.
- Freshman QB Bobby Eveld's game-tying 1-uard touchdown run with 2:00 remaining in the fourth quarter was the first of his career. Eveld replaced starter BJ Daniels to start the second half.
- Junior SS Jerrell Young's interception with 0:05 remaining in the fourth quarter deep in Miami terriotory preserved the tie and forced overtime. It was his third of his career. All of his interceptions have been this year.
- Murray's game-winning touchdown run in overtime was his second of the game and fourth of his career.
