
A Look Back with Kevin Gidrey

GoUSFBulls.com's Ronan O'Shea sat down with members of the 2010 senior class at the football banquet to take a look at both last season and their careers. In this installment, O'Shea welcomed tight end Kevin Gidrey.
Gidrey started 11 of his 13 games with USF after transferring from East Carolina, where he played for three years. He came on strong in the Bulls' offense towards the end of the season, posting a career-high three catches in each of the last two games. Against UConn, Gidrey made three catches for 43 yards, including a career-long 27-yarder, and then against Clemson in the Meineke Car Care Bowl, Gidrey tallied three catches for 34 yards. For the season, he notched eight catches for 95 yards.
For his career, Gidrey played in 54 games between USF and ECU, starting 32. He posted 21 catches for 222 yards and a TD.
