Team Notes
- USF has scored 50 or more points in back-to-back games for the first time in school history (posted 71 against FAMU on Sept. 17).
- Over the last three games, USF has scored 159 points marking the most in a three-game span since 2001 (161 vs. Liberty, Houston and W. Illinois)
- USF has posted 500+ yards of total offense of the last three games, marking the first time in program history with three 500+ yard games in a row … also just the second time in school history that the Bulls have recorded 500+ yards in three games in a season (2008).
- USF has now scored in the first four minutes in four straight games for the first time in program history.
- USF has outscored its first four opponents 65-7 in the first quarter this season.
- USF is now 4-0 on the season … the Bulls have started 4-0 five times in program history and have done so in four of the last five seasons.
- USF had three TD plays over 50 yards against UTEP … the Bulls had three TD plays over 50 yards total during the 2010 season.
- USF have five offensive plays over 50 yards on the season … the Bulls had eight offensive plays over 50-yards during the 2010 season.
Individual Notes
CB George Baker
- Tonight was Baker's first start of the season and the second of his career.
- Bonani's field goal in the second quarter moves him to 39 total for his career, setting the USF school record for most field goals made in program history.
- Bonani is now 39-of-52 (75.0%) on his career.
QB B.J. Daniels
- Daniels recorded 202 passing yards to give him 1,071 yards for the season … Daniels is the third QB in USF history to hit 1,000 passing yards in three-straight seasons.
- Tonight marked Daniels sixth 100-yard rushing game and his first since the Florida game in 2010.
- Daniels posted three TDs (2 passing, 1 rushing) to mark the second-straight game with three or more TDs.
- Daniels 71-yard TD run was a career long and the fourth-longest TD run in USF history.
- Daniels now has 1,248 career yards, moving him into seventh place all-time at USF … Daniels jumped from 10th to seventh in one game.
CB Richard Dixon
- Dixon posted his first career interception in the fourth quarter.
DE Ryne Giddins
- Recorded his first sack of the season in the third quarter … now has 6.5 career sacks.
- Having not recorded a receiving TD yet at USF entering the game, posted two against UTEP for a career high.
- Lamar set a career high with 85 receiving yards.
RB Victor Marc
- Marc's 67-yard TD run was a career long and the fifth-longest TD run in USF history.
- Scott's 3-yard TD run in the first quarter was his fifth of the season.
-Recorded his first interception of the season and second of his career … only other INT came against Syracuse on Oct. 3, 2009
