TAMPA – USF fans have a chance to pick up a special piece of Bulls football equipment for the holiday season.

USF replica helmets from its Nov. 16 Veterans and Military Appreciation Night game against Memphis are being auctioned off starting Tuesday, Dec. 3 at 10 a.m. on GoUSFBulls.com.

The white helmets feature a star-studded red, white and blue U on the sides. The helmet also has an American flag stripe down the center and a “Got Your 6” decal on the back. USF, through the Office of Veterans Services, has partnered with “Got Your 6” to develop a pilot program called “The Got Your 6 Campus Success Network” that provides student-veterans with on-campus academic and professional support. The program began at the beginning of the year and through the Student-Veterans Association (SVA), faculty and staff are being trained to provide support to more than 1,500 student-veterans on campus.

The helmet auction will take place Dec. 3-7 and Dec. 10-18 with sessions ending at 7 p.m. each day. Bids will start at $100 plus shipping and handling, and tax charges. Bids can be placed on the official auction page HERE.
