TAMPA, OCT. 25, 2014 – The USF women's tennis team easily swept through an exhibition match today against the State College of Florida at the USF Varsity Tennis Courts in Tampa.

USF picked up both doubles victories as Jessica Cortes Chaves and Olga Martinez defeated the duo of Natella Nabieva and Mikala Lowrance 6-4, while Vera Bessonova and Olaya Garrido-Rivas defeated Miranda Talbert and Amiene Houston 6-1.

In singles action, all five Bulls defeated their opponents in straight sets. Martinez battled Nabieva, who is one of the top junior college players in the nation, but ultimately won 7-5, 7-5.

This was the Bulls final tune up before the USTA Clay Court Invitational in Orlando next weekend.
