
Bulls Sail to Impressive Finishes at Two Events

TAMPA, SEPT. 21, 2015 – USF sailing continued its strong fall campaign with impressive finishes at two different events over the weekend.
In New London, Conn., USF tied for fourth with Yale on points and placed fifth after a tiebreaker at the Stu Nelson Regatta, which featured 18 teams from the East Coast and Midwest. Sophomores Madison Gates and Sarah Streater skippered to ninth place in the A Division. Ali Yarbrough, Charlie Bess and Darcy Jensen placed second in the B Division.
Another USF squad set sail at the Wolfpack Women's SAISA Invitational at NC State. Kelly Stukbauer and Tiffany Nicholson cruised to victory in the event. Delaney Caron and Megan Hostetter placed second in the B Division.
USF is back in action this weekend while hosting the SAISA South Points 3 event on Saturday in St. Petersburg.
