National search for a new coach to lead women's golf program will begin immediately
TAMPA, JUNE 14, 2016 – USF Director of Athletics Mark Harlan announced Tuesday that head women's golf coach Marci Kornegay has been relieved of her duties.
“We thank Coach Kornegay for her dedication and significant contributions to our golf program and department, and we wish her the best of luck in her future endeavors,” Harlan said. “After a very deliberate evaluation, I made the decision that our women's golf program needs new leadership. We expect to achieve excellence in all of our sports, which includes competing for conference and national championships.”
USF will begin a national search for a head coach immediately.
