TAMPA, OCT. 14, 2017 – Producing in all three phases of the game, USF extended its nation-leading winning streak to 11 games with a 33-3 homecoming victory over Cincinnati on Saturday night.

The No. 18/15-ranked Bulls extended their streak of 30-plus point games to 23, matching the AP Poll era record (since 1936) set by Oregon from 2011-12. USF (6-0, 3-0) also equaled the best start in program history by getting key contributions in all three phases of the game.

Senior quarterback Quinton Flowers (Miami) ran for 80 yards and a touchdown while becoming the second Bull to rush for 3,000 career yards. Darius Tice (Miami) brought his team-leading total up to eight rushing touchdowns and helped the Bulls run for 212 yards.

USF's defense pumped its nation-leading interception total up to 15 with a pick-6 by linebacker Auggie Sanchez (St. Petersburg). The senior covered 65 yards to reach the end zone on the final play of the first half. USF has totaled at least two takeaways in all six games this season after Juwuan Brown (Tampa) forced and recovered a fumble on a sack in the second half.

Emilio Nadelman (Miami) connected on all four of his field goal attempts to tie the school record of 13 consecutive field goals made, equaling the mark set by Marvin Kloss. Punter Jonathan Hernandez (Bradenton, Fla.) set a new career best with a 48.7-yard average on six attempts, including a 63-yard bomb.

USF took a 23-3 lead into the half thanks to big plays on offense, defense and special teams.

Nadelman provided the points early with field goals from 39, 28 and 21 yards out to give the Bulls a 9-3 lead near the middle of the second quarter.

USF's offense and defense got rolling from there with two touchdowns in the final 2 minutes, 24 seconds of the half.

Tice padded the lead with an 11-yard touchdown run a play after a nifty 37-yard reception by Temi Alaka (Houston). On the final play of the half, Sanchez posted a pick-6 for the second straight game by rumbling 65 yards into the end zone.

USF extended its 30-plus point streak to 23 games on the first drive of the second half that covered 59 yards in 6 minutes, 5 seconds. On fourth-and-goal, Flowers toughed out a 1-yard touchdown run in traffic on the 15^th play of the drive.

Brown's forced fumble and recovery on a sack at the Cincinnati 32 set up USF's next scoring drive on the first sequence of the fourth quarter. Nadelman tied Marvin Kloss for the USF record with his 13^th straight made field goal from 24 yards out.

USF's defense finished the job by keeping an opponent out of the end zone for the fifth consecutive quarter. Greg Reaves (Bradenton, Fla.) led the Bulls with a career-high eight tackles, along with a half sack and 1.5 tackles for loss.

"We can improve, we can get much better. We haven't arrived yet. I think sometimes that's what we think and we have to get rid of that attitude. We have to start thinking ahead in a different direction."
