USF Fan Day Set For Saturday, Aug. 12
TAMPA, JULY 26, 2017 – USF fans will have the chance to meet head coach
Charlie Strong and USF student-athletes at USF Fan Day, presented by Florida Blue, Saturday, Aug. 12 in the USF Sun Dome.
Entrance to the fan event and parking in Sun Dome lots is free. This year's festivities will actually begin at the Morsani Football Complex, where practice will be open to the public from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Events will move to the Sun Dome after 1 p.m. and will feature an autograph session with student-athletes and photo opportunities with Coach Strong. Entrance to the Sun Dome will be through Gate C, the gate nearest the Selmon Athletics Center.
The annual USF gear sale will begin inside the Sun Dome starting at 1 p.m. for the general public. Bulls Club members will have first access to the gear sale starting at noon, followed by USF football season ticket members at 12:45 p.m.
Another new element to the Fan Day experience this year will be the USF Apparel Showcase at 2 p.m. The showcase will feature models showing off new items that are available for fans at the USF Team Store for the 2017 season.
From 2:15 p.m. to 4 p.m., fans will be able to take photos with Coach Strong and get autographs from Bulls student-athletes (football, men's soccer, cross country, and volleyball teams). Fans will be provided 2017 schedule posters to collect autographs on at the Sun Dome. USF ticket sales representatives will also be on hand to assist fans with season, flex plan and single-game ticket purchases.
USF Fan Day - Schedule of Events
- 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Open Football practice - Morsani Football Complex
- 1 p.m. – USF Gear sale (general public) - Sun Dome Arena Club
- 2 p.m. – USF Apparel Showcase - Sun Dome
- 2:15 p.m. to 4 p.m. – Autographs with the football, volleyball, cross country, and soccer teams - Sun Dome
- 5 p.m. – USF Women's Soccer vs. Troy - Corbett Stadium
Autograph Policies
- Student-athletes will only sign the team schedule posters that are provided at the event.
- Fans may not bring in any items to be signed by the team.
- Coach Strong will be available for photos with fans.

- No outside bags, only small purses allowed.

USF finished the 2016 season ranked No. 19 in the Associated Press poll with a school-record 11 wins following the program's fifth-ever bowl victory in the Birmingham Bowl. The Bulls' 11-2 record marked the fifth-best winning percentage in FBS football in 2016 and one of just 11 teams to reach 11 wins. USF set nearly 40 team and individual records in 2016, including team records for total yards (6,650), rushing yards (3,714), touchdowns (77) and scoring (569). Junior quarterback Quinton Flowers was named the American Conference Offensive Player of the Year and led a school-record 10 players named to the all-conference team, six of which, including Flowers, will return in 2017.
