October 09, 2018 | Women's Sailing
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., OCTOBER 8, 2018 – The USF sailing team finished seventh over the weekend at the Stu Nelson Women's Regatta, hosted by Connecticut College.
In the final event prior to the Women's Showcase Finals, USF competed against many of the top teams that will be present next weekend. The Bulls were just 10 points behind Boston University for sixth place.
Yale took home the win, followed by the College of Charleston, Brown, the University of Rhode Island and Harvard.
Nota-Bulls
Head coach Allison Jolly looking ahead to this weekend:
"We are taking a full complement to Showcase Finals, hopefully covering all wind conditions. The Showcase Finals are very much a preview of the National Championships this spring, so this will be a good barometer to see if we are training appropriately."
