Bulls Defeat UNF for Seventh Straight Win
JACKSONVILLE (March 18, 2018) — The USF women's tennis team increased its win streak to seven with a 4-2 victory against in-state opponent UNF (10-5) on Sunday.
Senior
Juliana Cardoso (Descalvado, Brazil) clinched the win on court five in three sets, 6-7, 6-1, 6-2, after losing the first set in a tie breaker.
The Bulls (9-7, 4-1) began the match by giving up the doubles point to the Osprey. Freshman
Evelyne Tiron (Bucharest, Romania) started singles strong with a win at the No. 2 spot against Eva Nyikos in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4.
On court three,
Vanja Klaric (Gaborone, Botswona) also defeated her opponent in a match that went to a third set, 4-6, 6-3, 6-4, and
Nicole Dzenga (Harare, Zimbabwe) defeated her opponent in straight sets on court four, 6-2, 6-3.
Junior doubles pair Dzenga and Klaric defeated Luise Inert and Rafaela Gomez on court one, 6-3.

Evelyne and Nikki took care of business well and I'm proud of the way Juliana and Vanja battled after losing their first sets.
