Bulls Finish Sixth, 11th at Mountain Dew Invitational
GAINESVILLE, FLA., SEPT. 22, 2018 – The USF cross country team continued its 2018 schedule on Saturday at the Mountain Dew Invitational with a sixth-place finish from its men's team and an 11th-place showing by its women's team.
Sophomore
Evan Babatz (Fort Myers, Fla.) placed 31st and was the top finisher for USF for the first time in his career with a personal-best time of 26:42.24. Fellow sophomore
Matt Neeley (St. John's, Fla.) took second for USF and 34th overall with a personal-best time of 26:53.12.
Senior
Yaranel Abreu (St. Augustine, Fla.) turned in a personal-best time of 18:58.91 to finish first for USF and 49th overall. Freshman
Alivia Bienz (Fort Pierce, Fla.) followed in second for the Bulls and 61st overall with her time of 19:33.25.
