By TOM ZEBOLD

TAMPA, NOV. 3, 2020 – Fired up about facing his former team, Jason Pierre-Paul once again proved to be a defensive force for the Buccaneers on Monday Night Football.
Pierre-Paul chased down Giants all over the field while totaling a season-high seven tackles (five solo) and a sack in Tampa Bay's 25-23 victory at New York.
JPP has registered at least one sack in six of eight games so far this season for the NFC South-leading Bucs (6-2). He's currently tied for fifth in the NFL with 6.5 sacks.
Â
An 11-year NFL veteran, Pierre-Paul ranks 11
th among active NFL players with 86.0 career sacks and 27.5 of those have been recorded with the Buccaneers since 2018. Prior to returning to the Bay, JPP totaled the seventh-most sacks in Giants history (58.5) from 2010-17, was a two-time Pro Bowl selection and helped New York defeat the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLVI.
As a Bull, Pierre-Paul earned 2009 First Team All-America honors from Pro Football Weekly in his
lone season with USF. He decided to forego his senior season and became the highest NFL Draft pick in USF history, going 15
th overall to the Giants in 2010.
