USF Men's Tennis Records Nine Wins at Bedford Cup

TAMPA (Nov. 7, 2022) – The University of South Florida men's tennis team took part in the 2022 Bedford Cup this past weekend on the campus of Florida State University in the Scott Speicher Memorial Tennis Center.
Erik Grevelius and Davide Tortora earned the No. 1 seed in the tournament, advancing to the finals with wins over Stetson's Sami Ozzor and Ervin Haris Eminefendic, and Florida Gulf Coast's Magnus Johnson and Max Damn.
The pair fought hard but fell in the final to Florida Atlantic's Kevin Huempfner and Hunter Robbins.
In singles action, it was
Alvin Tudorica who earned the No. 2 seed behind FSU's Jamie Connel. Tudorica made it to the semifinals but fell to Huempfner, 3-6, 6-3, 6-1.
