USF Men's Tennis Adds UGA Transfer Erik Grevelius

TAMPA (May 24, 2022) – The University of South Florida head men's tennis coach Ashley Fisher announced the addition of University of Georgia transfer Erik Grevelius to the Bulls 2022-23 roster.
 
"We are excited to have Erik join us here in Tampa Bay," said Fisher. "He is an exciting player and we know he will help us continue to build our culture. Erik is a high-character young man with an outstanding work ethic. We are looking forward to doing some great things together"
 
Grevelius, who hails from Stockholm, Sweden, was one-half of the Bulldogs' most efficient doubles pairing during the 2022 season. He combined for Georgia's best records of 19-9 overall, 14-6 in dual matches and 7-3 against conference opponents
 
As the Bulldogs' No. 3 doubles team, the tandem defeated several strong opponents, with their highest-ranked win coming over Wake Forest's No. 19-ranked duo. They also took three consecutive matches at the Clemson Invitational and reached the quarterfinals of the ITA Southeast Regional Championship
 
Grevelius' tandem achieved their highest ranking of No. 59 in the ITA doubles rankings.
 
In singles, Grevelius appeared at the No. 6 position for the Bulldogs in various conference matches.
