TAMPA (February 16, 2024) – The University of South Florida women's tennis team (4-4) suffered a 4-0 setback on Friday afternoon to the LSU Tigers (6-1) in Baton Rouge. The Bulls are currently on a two-match road trip in Louisiana. LSU improved to 5-0 on its home court this season with the win.
It was a tough outing for South Florida as a pair of Bulls were forced to withdraw during singles play after the Tigers already claimed the doubles point.
Grace Schumacher was defeated on court one in a 6-1, 6-3 battle as the remaining singles courts went unfinished.
