TAMPA, FLA. (April 6, 2025) -The South Florida women's tennis team (6-14) dropped both of its matches this weekend to close out the regular season, falling 0-4 to No. 43 Rice on Friday, April 4, and No. 46 FIU on Sunday, April 6.
On Friday, USF's
Sienna Leeson and
Margherita Marcon earned a doubles win against the Owls, 6-3, marking their 10th victory of the season. However, the Bulls were unable to secure either the doubles point or any singles wins.
On Sunday against FIU,
Dharani Niroshan and
Melisa Senli opened the match with a 6-1 doubles win on Court Two. Despite the early success, USF again dropped both the doubles point and all singles matches, falling 0-4.
UP NEXT
The Bulls look ahead to the AAC Championship tournament in Memphis, Tenn., beginning April 17 through April 20. Seeding, times and matchups are set to be determined at a later date.
