TAMPA, Fla. (June 20, 2025) – USF Athletics has launched Bulls Athletic Properties, a new independent division designed to lead the department's multimedia rights and business strategy across all programs, facilities, and partner relationships.
Bulls Athletic Properties will oversee key revenue-generating functions, including ticketing, corporate partnerships, media rights, and marquee venue agreements. It will also work in close coordination with athletics development and name, image, and likeness (NIL) programs while supporting an aligned and sustainable model for USF Athletics.
Its formation marks a significant step forward in USF Athletics' broader growth strategy. It aligns with the university's momentum in athletics, academics, and campus development, including the opening of the on-campus stadium in 2027.
"Bulls Athletic Properties is a bold step in positioning USF Athletics for long-term success, especially in the rapidly evolving college athletics landscape," said Michael Kelly, USF's outgoing vice president for athletics, and Jay Stroman, interim vice president for athletics. "By bringing our commercial operations in-house, we gain greater control, alignment, and the ability to innovate in ways that best serve our student-athletes, fans, and corporate partners. It is another example of how USF Athletics is building a 'model athletic department for modern times.'"
USF Athletics has partnered with Elevate, a nationally recognized leader in sports and entertainment strategy, to support the division's launch. Elevate will provide expertise across staffing, structure, and revenue operations.
"The University of South Florida has always demonstrated bold leadership in athletics," said Flavil Hampsten, president of property sales at Elevate. "With its tremendous market potential, elite academic standing, and a growing national brand, USF is well-positioned to redefine what's possible in college sports. This partnership sets a new benchmark by blending the best of collegiate and professional athletics through an industry-leading properties division."
As USF prepares for the opening of its on-campus stadium, Bulls Athletic Properties will play a key role in supporting the university's vision for competitive excellence, fan engagement and community impact. It will serve as the foundation for USF Athletics' next chapter, with strategic initiatives and partnerships to be announced in the months ahead.
