When the South Florida Bulls face the Charlotte 49ers in Friday night's American Conference opener at Raymond James Stadium, it's "Flashback Friday,'' a nod to the program's first season in 1997. USF will wear its "RoboBull'' helmets that were utilized during the inaugural year.
